Footbrawl is online table football for 1-8 players, and the table always has eight rods: goalie, defense, midfield and attack on each side. The twist is gang control — the fewer players on your team, the more rods each of you drives at once. On your own you swing all four of your side's rods together; with two of you they split two and two; with three it is goalie plus defense, then midfield, then attack; with four you each take a single rod. That makes a 1v1 and a 4v4 genuinely different games on the same table, and it means nobody ever sits there watching. Slide your rods along the table, tap to kick, hold to charge a spin shot, and shove the whole table when the ball wedges itself in a corner. A match runs 3-8 minutes, plays in the browser on a phone or a desktop, and needs no download and no sign-up.

How to Play Footbrawl
- Create or join a room — Start a room and share the code. Up to 8 people split into two teams of up to four. Nothing to install, nothing to sign up for — it opens in the browser on a phone or a desktop.
- See how your rods are split — The table has eight rods, four per side: goalie, defense, midfield, attack. Your team shares its four between whoever is there. One player drives all four at once. Two players split them two and two. Three players take goalie plus defense, then midfield, then attack. Four players take one rod each. Fewer teammates means more rods under your hands, so no seat is ever a spectator seat.
- Slide and kick — On a desktop you slide your rods with W and S or with the mouse, and kick with space or a click. Hold the kick to charge a spin shot: there is a point in the hold where the spin arms, and a sweet spot near the top. A is a back-kick, and Shift shakes the table. On a phone a floating thumb stick appears wherever your thumb lands on the left half of the screen — it does not teleport your rods — the right half is your kick, hold it to charge, and BACK and SHAKE sit next to it as buttons.
- Survive the rod shuffle — By default, every 60 seconds each team rotates one seat along: the goalie takes over defense, defense takes midfield, midfield takes attack, and so on around the team. You get a three-second warning before it happens. The host can move it to every 30 seconds, to after every goal, or switch it off completely.
- Score the goals and take the awards — The host picks the target — 3, 5, 7 or 10 goals — and an optional time limit of 2, 3 or 5 minutes. Chaos crates can be left on to keep the table unpredictable, and bots fill any empty seat on easy, normal or hard. At the final whistle everyone collects an award: MVP, most unlucky, the wall, the sleepy one, the spinner or the bully.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Footbrawl free to play?
Yes. Every seat at the table, every setting and every match is free in the browser. There are optional cosmetics — ball skins, kits, rod grips, goal effects and pitch surfaces — but they only change how things look. Nothing you unlock changes how the game plays.
Do I need an account or a download?
No. Open the page, pick a name, and play. There is no app to install and no sign-up needed to join a table.
How many people can play?
1 to 8, split into two teams of up to four. 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4 all work, and so do lopsided teams — the eight rods are always shared out between whoever is actually sitting on each side.
Can I play alone?
Yes. Bots fill any empty seat on easy, normal or hard, so one player can drive all four rods against a full bot side. Play alone to learn the charge timing, then bring friends in.
Does Footbrawl work on a phone?
Yes, in portrait and in landscape. A floating thumb stick spawns wherever your thumb lands on the left half of the screen, so your rods never jump when you touch down. The right half is your kick — hold it to charge a spin shot — and BACK and SHAKE are buttons next to it.
What is a rod shuffle?
Every so often each team rotates one seat along: the goalie takes over defense, defense takes midfield, midfield takes attack, and so on. A three-second warning gives you time to brace for it. It runs every 60 seconds by default, and the host can set it to every 30 seconds, to after every goal, or turn it off.
Can I turn the chaos crates off?
Yes, they are a host toggle. With them on, a crate appears on the table and the ball collects it: a second ball, a giant ball, a bouncy ball, an ice-slick table, drunk controls that invert your slide, slow motion, a turbo kick, or a blackout that kills the arena lights and leaves only the ball lit.
How long does a match take?
3 to 8 minutes. The host sets the target at 3, 5, 7 or 10 goals and can add a 2, 3 or 5 minute time limit, or leave the match untimed.
Can we stream it or put it on a big screen?
Yes. There is a spectator seat built for a big screen, so a shared TV or a stream can follow the whole table, and there is video chat if you want to watch the faces of the people you are beating.
