Five Games, a New View: Meet the 3D Modes

Game night is getting a change of scenery. We have been building 3D spaces for CanvasChaos, Soundbite, ThinkAlike, Prime Suspect and Bluffalo: places to paint, record, compare ideas, trade suspicions and tell very convincing lies.
2D and 3D players can play together in the same room. You can switch between the two views at any time.
One room, everyone’s own view
Your group does not have to agree on a view before starting. One friend can use the familiar 2D interface while another sits in the 3D scene. You share the same game, rounds, rules and results.
The choice is personal: switching your view does not switch it for everyone else, and you do not need a separate 3D lobby. Stay with 2D, try 3D for a round or go back whenever you like.
CanvasChaos: step into the atelier
Easels, paint supplies and little artists give your drawings a home in the 3D atelier. It is a fitting setting for a room full of questionable masterpieces: create your picture, see what your friends make of the prompt and enjoy the reveal together.
Soundbite: welcome to GameBuddies FM
Microphones, recording booths and a mixing desk set the scene at GameBuddies FM. Your prompts, recordings and guesses become a show inside the radio studio, with the fun still coming from what your friends manage to make out of each sound.

ThinkAlike: find the same wavelength
Take a seat on a spacecraft bridge, with stars outside the windows and a terminal in front of you. The goal remains wonderfully simple: find the same word as your partner. The 3D setting gives that moment when both answers appear a little extra atmosphere.
Prime Suspect: take a seat at the table
Warm lamps, case notes and an evidence board surround the card table in Prime Suspect. Study your hand, consider your next move and keep an eye on the other suspects. The 3D room brings the detective mood to the table while keeping the same card rules and private information.
Bluffalo: bring your best bluff to the saloon
Bluffalo heads west, with wooden tables, lanterns and a big board for the round’s question. Come up with an answer that sounds just believable enough, then try to spot the truth among your friends’ inventions. The saloon gives every bluff a suitably theatrical setting.
How to switch
Look for the 2D / 3D switch in the game interface:
- Choose 3D to enter the game’s 3D setting.
- Choose 2D whenever you want the classic view.
- Keep playing with the same group; everyone chooses their own view.
Some nights you will want the whole room around you. Other nights the familiar 2D screen will feel just right. Bring your friends, pick a game and choose the view that suits you.
