A Birthday Card You Can Walk Around In
We just launched Confetto — a new little app on GameBuddies.io that turns a birthday message into a tiny playable game. Instead of a flat e-card or another group-chat "HAPPY BDAY 🎉🎉", you build a small pixel-art room, drop your friends in as characters, and let everyone write their own greeting. Then you share one link. The birthday person opens it, walks around with the arrow keys, and talks to everyone who showed up.

How it works
Confetto keeps the whole thing to three steps:
- Build it. Add the birthday person's name, pick a room, and place a few characters. Big labels, one task at a time — if you can fill in a form, you can make a card.
- Friends co-write it. Every character can get its own private link. Send it to a friend and they write their own message — no account, no app. They click, they type, they're in.
- Share one link. When you publish, you get a single public link. That's the whole gift: one click for the birthday person, no login required.
The result isn't a wall of text — it's a room full of people. Each friend becomes a character you walk up to and talk to, and once you've met everyone, the credits roll with all their names.
Your friends do the heavy lifting
The best part: you don't write everyone's message yourself. Send out the invite links and your friends fill in their own lines, in their own words. You can watch replies land, see who's still pending, and nudge the stragglers. Any photos friends attach are encrypted end-to-end, so the surprise stays a surprise.

Confetto started as a birthday thing, but it fits any moment worth celebrating — weddings, anniversaries, graduations, baby showers, a big thank-you, or just a "we did it." Pick the occasion and the card themes itself around it.
