Bluffalo is a Fibbage-style trivia deception game for 3-12+ players where the trivia is real but most of the answers are not. Everyone sees the same obscure question, writes a believable fake answer, and then votes on which of the shuffled answers is the truth. You score for finding the real answer — and you score every time another player falls for your lie, which is where the real points (and the real laughing) live. The best players are not the ones who know the most facts; they are the ones who can write a fake that sounds more plausible than the truth. Seven trivia categories, configurable timers, and free in-browser play with video chat built in so you can watch faces fall at the reveal.

How to Play Bluffalo
- See the question — Everyone sees the same real trivia question with the true answer hidden. Read it carefully — you are about to write a plausible fake.
- Write your lie — Submit a believable fake answer that sounds like it could be the real one. The more convincing your lie, the more players will fall for it.
- Vote for the truth — All answers — real and fake — are shuffled and shown. Pick the one you think is the real answer. You cannot vote for your own lie.
- Score the round — Find the real answer to score points. Every player who votes for your lie also scores you extra points. Fool more players, win more rounds.

What makes a good fake answer?
Match the shape of the truth. If the question asks for a law, write like a legislator; if it asks for an animal fact, be weirdly specific — real trivia is usually stranger than a safe guess, so a boring lie reads as fake. Study how the real answers are phrased and copy the register.
Does Bluffalo work on phones?
Yes — it runs in the mobile browser. Typing one lie per round is comfortable on a phone, and the voting is just a tap.
