Letter Rush is the online version of Stadt Land Fluss / Scattergories, the classic pen-and-paper category race. An animated wheel spins to pick a random letter, and everyone races to fill the categories — city, country, animal, name and more — with words starting with that letter. The first player to finish presses Stop and ends the round for the whole room, so speed pressures everyone. Then the round flips from typing race to table debate: answers are revealed and the group reviews them for validity. How to Play Letter Rush

Create a room and pick categories — Start a new room and share the code with 2-8 friends — everyone joins from their own browser, no download. The host picks the categories: play the classic set (city, country, river, animal, name) or build custom themed rounds.
Spin the letter wheel — An animated letter wheel spins and lands on a random letter. From that moment the round is live: every category needs a word starting with that letter.
Race to fill all categories — Type answers as fast as you can. Strategy kicks in immediately: do you take the safe, obvious answer everyone will also write, or spend three extra seconds on a rare one that could double your score?
Press Stop — or get stopped — The first player to fill every category presses Stop and ends the round for the entire room, finished or not. Sometimes the winning move is stopping early with a half-decent sheet just to catch everyone else blank.
Review answers and score — All answers are revealed side by side and the group reviews them for validity — this is where the fun arguments happen. Valid answers nobody else wrote score the most, duplicates score less, and empty or invalid entries score nothing.
