Schooled! — Draw answers on a chalkboard, let the group vote

Schooled! is a quiz party game where a Game Master poses questions and you draw your answer on a virtual chalkboard. Write text, sketch a picture, or mix both. In Survival mode, wrong answers cost a life (3 lives each). In Points mode, correct answers earn points. When Community Voting is on, the majority vote determines whether an answer counts. Jokers let you skip questions, get hints, or gain other advantages. Because the Game Master can write or select their own questions, a session can be tailored to classroom review, a themed trivia night, or a casual round with friends.

Schooled! is a free online party game for 3+ players — no download, no sign-up. It runs in any browser on desktop, tablet, or mobile.

How to Play Schooled!

  1. Choose your game mode — Pick Survival (3 lives, last one standing wins) or Points mode (highest score wins). The host configures timers, Jokers, and question settings. Survival raises the stakes since one wrong answer can end your game, while Points mode lets you keep playing and catch up later.
  2. Game Master asks a question — The Game Master creates or selects questions. They can also play alongside everyone else.
  3. Draw your answer on the chalkboard — You see the question and draw your answer on the virtual chalkboard. Write text, sketch a picture, or mix both.
  4. Community Voting — When Community Voting is on, all players vote on whether each answer is correct. The majority vote determines the result.
  5. Use your Jokers wisely — Each player gets Jokers: skip a question, get a hint, or gain other advantages. The host sets how many each player receives (1-5).

Features

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the two game modes?

Survival gives each player 3 lives. Wrong answers cost a life, last player standing wins. Points mode awards points for correct answers, highest score at the end wins.

What is Community Voting?

When enabled, all players vote on whether each answer is correct, instead of the Game Master deciding alone. Works well for subjective or creative questions.

What are Jokers?

Jokers are special powers you can use during the game. The host configures how many each player gets (1-5) and which types are available.

Can the Game Master play too?

The Game Master can participate alongside other players while also managing questions and game flow.

How many players do you need for Schooled!?

At least 3 — a Game Master plus enough players to keep Community Voting meaningful. It scales up comfortably for classrooms, larger game nights, or bigger friend groups.

Is Schooled! free to play?

Yes. Survival, Points mode, Community Voting, and Jokers are all free. Premium adds custom question packs, exclusive avatars, and an ad-free experience on top.

Do you need to be good at drawing to play?

No. You can just type your answer as text, sketch something rough, or mix both — Community Voting judges whether the group understood it, not the art quality.

Playing alone right now? Schooled! needs 3+ players — start with BlindSpot, ThinkAlike or Zoomies instead: they play great with just 2 players or solo with bots.
