Tier Battle is an S/A/B/C/D/E/F tier-list ranking party game for 1-12 players — even solo works, with your Twitch chat voting on the tiers. Pick a category (or invent one), drag items into tiers, then reveal everyone's placements at once and argue about who was right. Twitch chat can be the judge — viewers vote with !1 S, !2 A, !3 F. No Twitch? Players vote on the best tier list and that becomes the round's truth. Mind Meld scoring rewards how close you got: exact tier = 5 pts, 1 off = 3, 2 off = 1. Because everyone ranks privately before the reveal, the fun comes from the reveal itself — spotting who buried your favorite in F tier and defending the picks the group calls indefensible.

How to Play Tier Battle

Pick a category — Pizza Toppings, Pixar Movies, Disney Villains, Zelda Games... or invent your own. Players add items to rank — the more divisive, the better. A category with genuinely debatable items — where reasonable people disagree — makes for a better round than one with an obvious correct order.
Drag items into tiers — S, A, B, C, D, E, F. Everyone ranks at the same time, blind to each other's picks. No takebacks once the timer runs out.
Reveal & vote on the truth — All tier lists revealed at once. With Twitch on, chat votes the truth (!1 S, !2 A...). Without Twitch, players vote for the best list — winner becomes the Curator.
Score the Mind Meld — Match the truth tier exactly = 5 pts. 1 off = 3. 2 off = 1. Round Champion gets +10. Match every item = +15 Perfect Round. Ranking close to what the table (or Twitch chat) actually thinks matters more than being provocative — safe, popular placements score more consistently than shock picks.

No. With Twitch, chat picks the round's tier list as the truth. Without Twitch, players vote on which tier list was best — that one becomes the truth and the picker gets a +20 bonus for being voted best.

How long does a game take?
